CNC Machinist (m/f/d)
Who we are
Comateq GmbH is an owner-managed company based in Hecklingen (Cochstedt, Saxony-Anhalt) with around 15 employees. As a specialised contract manufacturer, we offer precision CNC machining on 5-axis machining centres, from single parts and prototypes to small series for customers across many industries.
Our standard: manufacture every part as if it were for our own use. Precise, well thought out and on time.
What to expect
- Setting up and operating our 5-axis milling and mill-turn centres (Hermle, DMG-Mori)
- CNC programming
- Independent production of single parts, prototypes and small series from technical drawings
- Choosing tools, clamping and machining strategy on your own responsibility
- Quality checks with standard analogue and digital measuring equipment
- Helping to continuously improve our production processes
- Machine care and preventive maintenance as part of our maintenance planning
What you bring
Professional qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship as a machinist (Zerspanungsmechaniker/in) or a comparable qualification
- Experience on CNC machines, ideally 5-axis milling and/or mill-turning
- Knowledge of Heidenhain and Siemens controls
- Confident reading and interpreting of technical drawings
- Solid knowledge of cutting data, tools and materials
- Routine handling of measuring and testing equipment

- Team spirit and open communication in a small company
- Interest in new materials, technologies and processes
